Australian diver Brett Vercoe filmed this from his boat as a group of sharks devoured the carcass of a dead sperm whale off the coast of Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, according to ABC News.
Five Large predators – three White pointers up to 4.5 metres in length and two Tiger sharks up to 4.2 metres long – in all their dinner-eating glory.
“I spent 3 hours watching as the sharks leisurely took advantage of this abundant food source. The next morning it washed up on Campbells Beach and was buried precariously close to the waters edge where it will take years to slowly decompose”- Said Brett Vercoe.
The impressive footage follows two shark incidents on the New South Wales mid-north coast in the last week. A bodyboarder was mauled by a shark near Lennox Head on Thursday morning, while nearby a surfer was knocked off his board by a hungry shark on Friday morning.
